Easy Spaghetti Marinara Sauce Inspired by Olive Garden

In a medium saucepan over medium heat, add the below ingredients in this order:

Stir occasionally for 5 minutes until the onion begins to carmelize/turn a light brown color.

Add Flavor.

Stir in:

  • 4 diced Roma tomatoes

Cook for another 5 minutes. Then add:

Stir continuously.

Simmer and Rest.

Bring the mixture to a simmer. Once the mixture is simmering, lower the heat to medium-low. Let it cook uncovered for at least 10 minutes.

Cover and let rest for at least 10 mins. Serve with pasta.

This dish pairs well with eggplant parm or chicken parm.
